Pokémon World Championships Celebration Tournament - 29th August - EVENT ENTRY

Please note the day can finish at 1pm but based on player attendance and placement, it can go til 8pm! See below for rounds and top cuts. Players will require a deck list.

The air is feeling electric as we approach the 2026 World Championships, and Play! Pokémon is ready to kick off the celebration early!

Participating Trainers will earn a Pokémon promo card featuring Pikachu and a San Francisco-inspired background, while supplies last. Plus, winners from each age division—Junior, Senior, and Masters—will earn a copy of the promo card with “WINNER” stamped on it. 

For the first time, Trainers who win this year will also be treated to a Worlds Celebration themed deck box and card sleeves to flex their next deck!

Format: Standard

Prizes:

• Winner of each age division will recieve a “WINNER” stamped Promo Card and Worlds Celebration themed deck box and card sleeves
• Participants will recieve 1 Pokemon prize pack
• Participants will also recieve 2 Pokemon Booster Packs

Players are required to bring their own 60 card deck within standard format, dice that are clear with no bubbles inside and the correct counters needed for their deck.

Players will face off in 50 minute swiss rounds, for the best of three Event will have 3 games minimum but can go more depending on player attendance, with a possible top cut.

4-8 players 3 rounds and no top cut
9-12 players 4 rounds and 2 top cut rounds
13-20 players 5 rounds and 2 top cut rounds
21-32 players 5 rounds and 3 top cut rounds

Players will require a deck list.
