Yu-Gi-Oh! is an exciting universe based on a card game played with Monsters, Spells, and Traps in a game of strategy, luck, and skill developed and published by Konami.
When: 5:30pm Thursday & 2pm Saturday

Cost: $17.50 per player
Prizes are determined by your placement on the day.
Players can choose to exchange 1 Booster pack in their prizing for an OTS pack
Players must bring a standard constructed legal deck to compete against others.

The top 8 Pointscorers from our events throughout the year will be playing off for our annual Grand Championship with heaps of prizes for all players and with the Grand Champion's name inscribed onto our Yu-Gi-Oh! Grand Champion Plaque for eternity!

HOW TO QUALIFY AND EARN POINTS
From 2 January 2025 to 8 December 2025, every time you play Yu-Gi-Oh! at Unplugged Games you will score championship points as follows:
- Saturday Yu-Gi-Oh! - 10 Points for Playing + Reverse Position Points
- BRING A FRIEND! - If you bring along a new player to Unplugged for the first time and introduce them to Yu-Gi-Oh! at Unplugged Games, you will receive 20 BONUS POINTS
On 8 December 2025 all points for the year will be tallied and the top qualifiers announced on our Facebook Group and our Webpage. If a qaulifier is unable to attend the championship, their place will be allocated to the 9th placed point-scorer and so on.

WHAT ARE "REVERSE POSITION POINTS" AND WHY ARE THEY IMPORTANT?
Reverse position points are awarded for each YU-Gi-Oh! event we hold. The number of points awarded are based on the number of players at the event.
If there are 8 players at an event, the winner will be allocated 8 points, runner-up allocated 7 points, 3rd place 6 points and so on.
The key to this is the more players, the more oppotunity to score points. This means that if you are a competant player it will be worth your while to invite and encourage new players to come to add to the points pool (e.g. 12 players is 12 points for the winner) BUT..If you thrash every player all the time, they may not come back. So play strong, play fair and most importantly make it fun!
