MTG Companion App Event Saver Feature!

Are you a Magic: The Gathering player at our store? Do you still miss special events due to the algorithm buring event entries and advertisements?

Wizards of the Coast now has a very useful tool within the Companion App that will allow you to check out all the events we will be running across the season and either bookmark them or add them to your calendars so you will be notified that it is coming up!! (As early as we add them into Event link).

We will always have the next season of events ready to go well before it starts, so be sure to check all the available events in the future either before or at the beginning of each new set!!

To do this when you open your Companion App, there are a couple things you can do;

1) If you go to your profile on the top right of the app screen there should be a tab called “My Stores” or on the bottom of the screen in the “Locator” tab. If you search for Unplugged Games or the postcode; 2480 and find then favourite the store, the app will automatically bring up all the available MTG events that we have scheduled.

2) The events you are interested in, you can click the bookmark tab on the event to favourite to save them.

3) If you click the 3 dots you can also add the event directly into your phone calendar and it will give you the option to notify you from weeks, or days before the event.

The companion app whenever you play an event with us will ask you to fill out a quick survey regarding the stores service and if you enjoyed the event. Filling this out after each event will help us grow and if needed make changes to events.
